Your child's safety is important to us
Here at Big Lake Church of God, we want parents to feel comfortable with their children going to our classes. We have a great team of volunteers that have had a national background check completed and have taken a child protection training class.
To have your child participate in BL Kidz on Sunday mornings, stop by the check-in station by the coffee bar; there, we can register your child so that we can get him/her a label. You will get a corresponding label that will have a unique code that matches your child’s and you can present that label to pick up your child at the end of service. We take your child’s safety and security very seriously, so if there are any questions or concerns you have please don’t hesitate to contact us!

What will my child be learning on sunday mornings?
Toddlers
This class will be learning through the Bible, Genesis through Revelation, using The Story curriculum. During service there will be learning stations to introduce the story for the day. Then in Sunday School, a teacher will connect the learning stations to the lesson for that week.
Pre-k // Kindergarten
Pre-k and kindergarten students will get to dive more in depth into The Lord's Prayer for fall and spring! Each month will be focusing on a different section to help bring it all together. After worship time in the main service, students will be dismissed to learning stations to introduce the lesson or story for the day. Then in Sunday School, a teacher will connect the learning stations to the lesson for that week.
Elementary
1st graders through 5th graders will be learning how they can discern God's voice through Karios Quest curriculum. During service there will be activity bags provided on a stand in the back of the sanctuary to introduce the lesson for that week. During Sunday School they will have a chance to go over what they learned during the worship service with their teacher and peers and explore the ways they can connect with God.

OTher Ways to get involved
Written On My Heart Challenge - The last Sunday of every month, kids through 5th grade are invited to come on stage and recite a verse to the congregation and in doing so they will get to pick a $5 gift card!
